Checking out the flowerpot...

I got a new Canon EOS 400D, it's a digital SLR camera and is just amazing so Jason was my guinea pig today while I tried it out. I managed to capture this one as he was sitting down on the patio checking out the flower pot, not 100% sure what had his attention so much but he was focused on it for a good 5 minutes or so...

The camera is amazing and is "more camera" than I've ever had, Nicole on the other hand I think will do great with it she's got a great eye!

My Hurt foot

My Hurt foot
Originally uploaded by Craig & Nicole
The other day we noticed a small white dot on Jason's foot, we thought it might be a blister, perhaps his shoes were once again too small. Well after a day or so the area around the white dot was now red, then a day later there was a thick red line.

Well the normally is never a good sign so off we were to the doctor's.

Now the whole time you could touch his foot, rub it squeeze it a bit, he ran around, jumped around the works with zero pain and no discomfort.

Doctor said - good you brought him in there is something in there so we have to get it out. He was a trooper the whole time and was great! It was a wood like substance but soft and we got it all out and a few days later now he's in perfect shape and the little area is already sealed back up.

I did a dumb thing...

As they say dad's often do something they think is cool then later (usually within minutes) learn was not such a great idea.

I put him up on the corner, and it's not the first time but it was the first time he decided to check out the rest of the cabinet top...

I had to get a step stool to get him back down he decided it was too much fun hanging out up there...

This painter’s painting of people admiring paintings

Now this is what you call a video blog! This is totally awesome, I was blown away just reading this entry let alone everything else, now if only I could do art like that! To top it off the painting is even up for sale.

Your Angel on Earth

Once upon a time...
a child who was ready to be born was talking to God.
He asked, "How will I live on Earth; I'm so small?"
"How will I sing when I'm there?"
"How will I understand when they talk?"
"How will I talk to you, God?"
"Who will protect me?"
And God answered the baby...
"I have chosen an Angel for you who will take care of you as you grow.
Your Angel will sing to you and teach you to smile.
Your Angel will say the most beautiful things to you and teach you to talk.
Your Angel will put your hands together and teach you to pray.
And you Angel will protect you from all harm.
Just then, voices from Earth were calling the baby, and he said, "Oh God. I am about to leave you - Please! Tell me my Angel's name!'
And God said, "Your Angel's name is not important.
Just call her "MOMMY"

I received that a few minutes ago from my wife (crazy I know we email sometimes at home) but I just had to smile and share it - not sure who the author is or where it came from though...

Not 100% sure this is the way to bring attention to the cool yet hidden areas of downtown Jacksonville but it will be interesting to watch and see how it goes.

Also great to see blogging happening here in Jax.
